I have now began to develop my prototype model. i will be blogging about the construction of the model as well as the final questions that have to be covered

Questions still to be answered

How much will it cost?

How long will it take to construct?

How will it be funded?

Health and safety?

Questions + Answers

After plenty of research these are the questions that had to be asked and the answers i collected

After looking through all my research I began to sketch in my book how i want the pier to look, the size, the length, where I want it positioned and how I want people to react to it. Using my sketches I produced a prototype of the pier.

Looking at what the folkestone regeneration comity are looking for?

Or even a gallery

I had a quick thought about using the pier for a business, a hotel or a restaurant for example

Looking at materials that will suit my idea of an underwater pier

Looking at Anish Kapoor and the materials he uses

I continued to look into piers, finding a location, a unique design and the history of piers. These are some ideas of my pier

I then sketched some ideas that i gathered from previous land marks
